What is a Textcee?

Textcees are writers, emcees or just people (usually teenagers) who are bored
online that post rap lyrics to kill that boredom. These lyrics could be posted
in the form of text battles, keystyle battles, open mics, topicals, flex verses,
story telling verses, poems, topical battles, 1 bar punchline battles, comedy
roasts, cyphers, keystyles, disses, ect. Textceeing is a good way to relieve
stress, making fun of someone is always a great stress reliever. And whats a
cooler way to make fun of someone than to write punchlines that completely own
someone? Some of the punches that have been posted throughout the years on
textcee sites have been harsh, cruel, and just plain crossed the line but even
though those punches weren't funny to the person they were used on, they were
hilariously funny to all the voters on the forum (IE all the forum members
(textcees/netcees/emcees) who read the punchlines). It's easy to text battle
it doesnt take more than 10 minute to write a good text rap battle verse,
as long as you don't suck. If you aren't good at text battling then you'd
probably post bad no matter how long you had to write. Taking more time on
your verse can make it better though. A verse that takes time to write is
called a written/prewritten verse. One that doesnt take long is referred
to as a keystyle or freestyle. Freestyling and keystyling verses are the
most common types of verses found on rap battle forums on online community
boards that have textcees. MC's love to test their text battling skills by
seeing whats the fastest they can drop a text battle verse in, it's a great
lyrical exercise. One of the Mods there's name is David Lama. and he
is known for modding fairly so don't expect some bs from the mods on this site
